Alex, as he likes to say, “knows all the finishes”. Rags, strié, frottage, rolls, stripes, stencils (custom, purchased and stylized). Not only that, but he is able to apply them in such a way that corners and edges are uniformly covered, the nemesis of DIY-ers. He understands the way colors work together to complement and balance a space and can design a finish that connects the disparate contents of a room, creating a unified whole.
